Bio

I was born in Bellevue, WA on July 20th, 1987. My family moved to Saudi Arabia in 1992. After completing the fourth grade, we moved to Bahrain in 1998, where I lived until completing high school in June 2006. That year, I moved to Portland, Oregon to study at Portland State University, where I graduated in March 2011.

I co-founded the Portland-based weekly music discussion podcast and blog Faces on the Radio, co-hosting between 2012 and 2015. I was also the program's in-house graphic designer and photographer, and took pictures for their blog until 2019.

I am also a musician, having released my first solo album in 2017. I also served as the guitarist, songwriter and founding member of the Bahraini Thrash Metal group Motör Militia.
